Ingram Bar Group began in 2011 with the opening of The Angry Elephant, a concept built around a simple idea, create a place where people can come together, have a great time, and want to stay longer than they planned.

As that first location grew, so did the vision.In 2012, The Roo Pub opened, followed by The Deuce in 2013, which has now been a staple in the lineup for over a decade. Each new concept brought something different to the table, but all shared the same foundation of strong service, consistent quality, and an atmosphere that keeps people coming back.

Over the years, the group continued to expand across San Antonio, steadily building a reputation for creating high energy, reliable concepts. More recent additions, including The Big Blind, which has quickly become a key part of the portfolio over the past four years, and Gopher Shack, opened in April 2026, show how the group continues to evolve with new ideas and experiences.

Today, Ingram Bar Group operates 11 active concepts, each with its own identity but all connected by the same goal, to create places where people enjoy being. With multiple new concepts already in development, the growth is far from over. What started as one bar has turned into a growing collection of destinations, and we are just getting started.
